Young Writers Program at Walker Memorial Library

Young Writers Program at Walker Memorial Library

November is National Novel Writing Month, and Walker Memorial Library is going to host a Young Writers Program (YWP) for kids in grades 3 to 12. We’ll help explain the basics of writing a novel, how to create awesome characters and an interesting plot, and best of all, we’ll provide a quiet place to meet up, bounce ideas around, and get actual writing done!

We will provide paper and writing tools, all you need to bring is yourself and your ideas (and if you don’t have any ideas, we will provide stuff to help you brainstorm)!

Meets Tuesdays 4-6pm during November at the Walker Memorial Library; 800 Main Street; Westbrook, ME 04092. Starts November 5th in Walker Youth Services.
